Project details

During the Earth Week competition, Mrs. Lewis' class did the following:

• Participated in the Lights Off activity and used the poster provided to track their energy use over a 2-week period. Was able to have the lights ½ on in the classroom and almost off for the entire Earth Day.
• Created Eco-magnets using recycled materials.
• Wrote an environmental song and performed it for the school.
• Completed the Reducing garbage and waste lesson.
• Created a tree with leaf shapes and did an environment theme.
• Completed an on-line environmental story/program called The Magical Thread.
