Hidden Valley Elementary: Eco-Challenge for Primary Students

We are a small school located in the country residential subdivison of MacPherson. While we are technically in Whitehorse, the school has a very rural feel.

Project details

During the Earth Week competition, we did both Lights Off and Reduce Your Waste. Each student in the class also made personal commitments to conserve energy. They each choose three things they could do at home to reduce energy consumption and tracked it on a daily chart. We also cleaned up the school yard on Earth day.
