Project details

During the Earth Week competition, Ms. Darling's class did the following:

• Created environmental posters using recycled materials.
• Had lightless lunches and tracked this.
• Read conservation books.
• Made a Verna composter.
• Created Earth Day sun-catchers.
• Completed an on-line environmental story/program called The Magical Thread.
• Visited Swan Haven and made swan posters.
• Created 40 different trees out of different papers for 40 years of Earth Day and put them up around the school.
• Participated in a school clean-up.
