Christ the King Elementary: Eco-Challenge for Primary Students

Project details

During the Earth Week competition, Mrs. Bolster's class did the following:

  • Participated in the Lights Off activity and used the poster provided to track their energy use over a 2-week period.
  • Encouraged the entire school to do the Lights Off activity and use the posters provided. Acknowledged the class in the school that managed to reduce their use of electricity the most during Earth week.
  • Created Eco-bookmarks.
  • Participated in the give a book/take a book that Mrs. Haines' class ran for the school.
  • Encouraged the entire school to do the Lights Off activity and use the posters provided.
  • Completed an on-line environmental story/program called The Magical Thread.
