Looking for good resources?

During the past several years, there has been an explosion of websites, videos, and print resources on the topic of climate change. The Climate Change North collection of websites and resources is designed specifically for northern students and teachers.

The resources have been divided into two categories: Websites and Videos/Print Resources. Be sure to scroll down to see everything that’s offered.

Websites on Climate Change

Most of the sites have a northern focus. However, we have also included some excellent Canadian and global websites that can be used for background information, for ideas about action, and for student research.

The websites are divided into three categories:

  • Northern Websites – Developed in the North, full of information on Nunavut, Yukon and NWT
  • Canadian Websites – Canadian focus, relevant to northerners
  • Global Websites – Developed outside of Canada, containing worldwide information in climate change

Videos and Print Resources on Climate Change

Go through the list of resources below, and you’ll be impressed by the diversity, creativity and sheer amount of work that has gone into producing student/teacher resources on climate change. Most of these resources are free, or available for the cost of production. Some of them relate to websites, which – if you have online access – can give you more information about the resource. When this is the case, the URL is also included.

To help you to get quickly to the resources or sites you want, we have sorted them into two groups:
