Climate change is affecting our planet. In the north, changes to the environment are already happening. Climate change will continue to impact the lives of northerners, particularly youth who will experience those impacts over a longer term.

This website focuses specifically on the north, providing information, lesson plans and resources that link directly to northern experience and northern curricula. It is our hope that Climate Change North will empower and support teachers, students, and others to understand the problem of climate change in the north, the adaptations that will be required, and the actions that will help slow its progress.

Climate Change North is owned and operated by the Northern Climate ExChange, a program of the Northern Research Institute at Yukon College.
